Following the popularity of the Ranger pickup truck in Europe, Ford has released a special version with visual upgrades, wider tracks, and a higher ride height. Frozen White, Conquer Grey, and Performance Blue are the three exterior color options for the Ford Ranger Raptor Special Edition. Each hue will come with two matte black racing strips with red contrast lines. The front bonnet, lower body sides, top, tailgate, and rear wings all have red stripes.
The grille, front and rear bumpers, flared wheel arches, and door handles are all matte black, with the exception of the front two hooks, which are painted red. The Ranger Raptor Special Edition comes with General Grabber AT3 All-Terrain tyres that are larger than the ordinary model.
The sporty red accents and high-grain leather seat coverings give the cabin a premium feel and appeal. The instrument cluster, steering wheel, and door panels all have crimson stitching. The normal instrument cluster has been replaced with a Raceway Grey Special Edition unit.
The Ford Ranger Raptor Special Edition, which rides on the Ford Performance chassis, has a 5.9-inch wider track and 2-inch higher ride height than the Ranger XLT. Aluminum double wishbones in the front and a multi-link system at the back make up the suspension system. It also receives FOX Position Sensitive Damping shock absorbers. Its off-road capabilities are improved by the aforementioned characteristics.
Under the hood, no modifications have been done. The 2.0L, 4-cylinder dual turbocharged Ecoblue diesel engine in the Ford Ranger Raptor Special Edition is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. In the Ford Mustang, the same gearbox is used. The oil burner has been calibrated to produce 213bhp and 500Nm of torque. A Terrain Management System is included in the special edition of the Ranger Raptor.
